U is for Unsettled
Welcome back! We are now in our final week of Blogging A to Z. Thank you for hanging in and participating in the challenge. Let’s see what’s Up with U.
Clue 1: This 2009 film starring Emily Browning and Arielle Kebbel is actually a remake of a Korean film called A Tale of Two Sisters. I’m putting A Tale of Two Sisters on my TBW list right away. As the author of a Korean-related ghost novel, I’m embarrassed to say that I have not seen A Tale of Two Sisters. But I will posthaste!
Clue 2: In this movie, Anna leaves a mental hospital to rejoin her sister Alex and discovers that in her absence her father has married her mother’s nurse. Soon Anna is visited by her mother’s ghost. As you might imagine, these ghost visitations leave Anna feeling unsettled.
Let’s see how many of you know this adaptation of A Tale of Two Sisters. Leave your comment, please!
Most commenters correctly identified yesterday’s book as The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. Good work, everyone! This 1898 novella has been made into no less than eight movies. Apparently the best one is The Innocents starring Deborah Kerr. Have you seen it?

Well I guessed T correctly, but I don’t know this one. 🙁

I know what you mean. I hadn’t heard of this one until I started my prep work for Blogging A to Z.
I have no idea what this one is – I’ll have to come back and find out!
I know…this one is a hard one. Some letters are easier than others; U proved to be difficult. Of course, X, Y, and Z are no picnic!
Is this The Uninvited? I have A Tale of Two Sisters and I keep meaning to watch it, but haven’t got around to it yet 🙂

You are correct, Tasha! I just posted it. What do you say to the two of us setting a date to watch A Tale of Two Sisters and then having some kind of blog conversation about it? I think that could be fun! Let me know.
