R.I.P. Reading Challenge Wrap-up
Sadly, it’s time to wrap up Readers Imbibing.Peril VIII. It’s fitting that our cloaked heroine appears to be fleeing the scene, don’t you think?
I had fun participating for my third time over at Stainless Steel Droppings and even surpassed past attempts. During the challenge, I viewed one movie and read six books. If you missed them, here they are:
Ghost Town the movie with Ricky Gervais, Tea Leoni, and Greg Kinnear
Notes from Ghost Town by Kate Ellison
The Search by Nora Roberts
The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo
Bag of Bones by Stephen King
Phantom Summer by Amy Sparling
The review of This House Is Haunted by John Boyne is forthcoming.
My only regret is that I didn’t get to read and savor as many posts by my fellow RIP participants as I would have liked. Even though the event is over (sigh), I plan to continue visiting the review list for some time to come to catch up.
Plus, there’s always next year. Here we come! Long Live R.I.P. IX!

Ooh, I should have rewatched Ghost Town! Such a fun movie…it’s like the funny, non-scary Sixth Sense. 🙂
Ha! That’s a good way to look at it. Sixth Sense without the scary stuff. (Though I loved Sixth Sense, too.)
