There can never be too many books!

Dear Authors,

Thank you for visiting my review policy page. First of all, congratulations on your book! Authors can never receive too much encouragement.

My review focus is unique in that I am open to genre (with some exceptions) but narrow in topic. I review books in these categories:

  • novels with a ghost or psychic element
  • novels about adoption (human or canine)
  • novels featuring service dogs
  • novels about Korean and Korean/Caucasian history and culture

Accepted genres include literary, women’s fiction, young adult, paranormal, romance, historical, and light horror (think Richard Matheson not James Herbert).

I post reviews on my site as well as on Amazon and Goodreads (Barnes & Noble upon request) While I don’t host giveaways, I am happy to post author interviews. I accept print and mobi novels but not short stories, graphic novels, children’s books, erotica, religious or mystical works. No goddesses, gods, vampires, or witches, please.

If you would like me to review your novel, please email the following information to debatwood at hotmail dot com:

If I am interested in reviewing your novel, I will contact you. Otherwise, you will probably not hear from me. I do not review in exchange for payment, but I ask authors whose work I accept to follow me on Twitter (@deb_atwood) and subscribe to my blog Pen In Her Hand. If you would like to snag a copy of Moonlight Dancer, even better!

Thank you and good luck!
